Hetero Wines, created by Maria Tamiolaki and Dimitris Mansolas, describes its effort as ‘Gypsy Winemaking’, ie it produces wines in different regions of Greece that have been selected for their uniqueness and wine value. Here we have an amazing Assyrtiko from vineyards that are organically grown in Domokos, which ferments with the native yeasts, remains for 5 months with its fine lees as 50% of the wine enters oak barrels of second use. It very nicely combines the austerity of the variety with its friendliest characteristics when grown outside Santorini.

The ‘new kid on the block’ in terms of exciting varietals, Malagousia from Alpha estate is appealing due to its stone fruit, botanical and flowery character, being a great alternative to international aromatic grape varieties.

A cool, crisp wine that gives us all the beautiful taste and aroma characteristics of Malagousia to combine with fish or to drink a glass as an aperitif.

Usually when it comes to Moshofilero talking about perfumes, freshness and acidity. In this Moshofilero however, we can talk about volume and oiliness. Very beautiful approach from Semeli, with fruit coming from an old vineyard of 25 years, at an altitude of 650 meters and maintenance of wine for six months with fine lees.

An organic and limited production, wine from the vineyard "Faia Gi" of the Boutari winery in Mantineia, which reflects the company's devotion to Moschofilero. A very nice and elegant expression of the variety, which passes for a short time from oak barrels acquiring complexity and volume.

Cool and pleasant Assyrtiko from Drama and Domaine Wine Art in more aromatic style and less rigid than that of the island, which proves that the variety they cultivate will give excellent wines.

Kyr-Yiannis Estate adds to its single vineyard collection, the most recognized "queen" of the Greek vineyard, Malagouzia. The fruit collected from a unique vineyard 8str. at an altitude of 720m. in Amyntaio gives the final shapely but also complex result the graces of the cool climate.

Assyrtiko is adapted extremely well in Drama region with a broader aromatic profile than in Santorini even while the grape retains its inherent minerality and high acidity. A dash of Sauvignon Blanc boosts this successful brand with grassy-vegetal character and stone fruit aromas.

The Greek best-seller pulled too. Cool and pleasant white drunk fanatically in homes and restaurants. An elegant presence at the table.

The Troupi winery goes even further than Moschofilero! It takes fruit from the Katarachi area at an altitude of 640 meters, ferments part of the wine in stainless steel tanks and the rest in old barrels of acacia and oak and then all the wine matures for a few months in concrete tanks, while bottled without bottles. The excellent raw material, the complex way of vinification but also the combination of four different fermentation and maturation vessels lead to an extremely complex and enjoyable Moschofilero that can be developed for a few years in the bottle.

A northern Greek Asyrtiko with quite fruity features that closes the eye to Santorini with a lively mineral character and high acidity. The Akratos winery is an entirely new effort in Halkidiki, judging from this exceptional and complex Asyrtiko that comes in the early years of the winery, the continuity is exciting!

It is everything its name says: 100% Crispy Assyrtiko Old Bush Vines Wild Fermented. The Mouson Estate manages to give to this mainland Assyrtiko, island nerve and northern Greece spirt. Rich and playful, well-crafted and mind-blowing, it will become one of the best value selections of the variety.

At the Navitas winery, from the very first steps, they have managed to create a wonderful Malagouzia that takes the variety to another level. A wine with a refreshing but at the same time elegant aroma, with a pronounced acidity that refreshes and with a very nice harmonious aftertaste. If you are one of those who do not see Malagouzia with a good eye, this fresh effort will make you reconsider!

A promising Assyrtiko from Pieria that highlights the ‘friendly’ side of the variety, from a brand new winery that is expected to occupy us a lot in the future. Pleasant and elegant aromas, liveliness and nerve in a refreshing wine that will accompany wonderfully anything that comes out of the sea and more. It is a certified vegan wine.

The most renowned Greek variety, Assyrtiko, meets one of the most up-and-coming varieties, Kidonitsa in a wine from Laconia with very nice freshness, fruity profile and luscious taste. It is a white wine that suits all seasons and all hours of the day.
