Assyrtiko in general does not need recommendations anymore, it has flooded the entire Greek vineyard! But we must recommend you an Assyrtiko from the unique terroir of Egialia from vineyards at an altitude of 750 - 900 meters and the talented Theodora Rouvalis. An amazing wine that combines both the strict characteristics of the grape and the charming and fresh aromas that are favored by the high altitude and the influence of the sea. It is an expression of the variety that should be enjoyed by the fans of Assyrtiko but also by those who do not particularly like it because they will change their mind.
Its color is bright lemon with soft golden highlights. Its aroma is complex with plenty of fresh fruits such as bergamot, lemon and pear to dominate and follow notes of citrus and mineral blossoms. In the mouth it is delicious with the oiliness and the high acidity to be combined very nicely, the minerality to become more intense, while its aftertaste is lasting and lemony. It is a wine that has the structure to evolve for a few years in the bottle.
