Katogi Averoff, although located quite far from Naoussa, manages to bring to our glasses an exceptional expression of the variety with bright fruit and botanical elements, lively acidity and noticeable tannins. It uses fruit from selected vineyards in the area and vinifies it exemplary, capturing all the typical characteristics of PDO Naoussa wines.
Its color is medium gray. Its aroma is complex with fruits such as cherry and sour cherry dominating and followed by notes of sun-dried tomato, violet and sweet spices. In the mouth it is firm with noticeable but refined tannins and a long aftertaste. It has acidity and structure that allow it to age for many years.
