From a vineyard in Pyrgos, called Louri Platia, with vines older than 150 years, an amazing Santorini is produced that matures for almost a year on its fine lees, acquiring an extremely complex aromatic and tasty profile. Another wine from the winery of Artemis Karamolegos, an ode to Assyrtiko in Santorini, which wins rave reviews and great distinctions from all over the wine world.
Its color is bright gold with shades of green. Ripe and fresh citrus fruits reminiscent of kumquat and grapefruit in combination with tropical fruits give an expressive fruity dimension that is embraced by strong notes of minerals, honey and nuts. Its taste is rich and concentrated, with high acidity and incredibly long aftertaste with alternations between savory and some spicy elements. It has the structure to age for at least a decade. Give it 30 minutes in a decanter before enjoying.
