The most renowned Greek variety, Assyrtiko, meets one of the most up-and-coming varieties, Kidonitsa in a wine from Laconia with very nice freshness, fruity profile and luscious taste. It is a white wine that suits all seasons and all hours of the day.

Assyrtiko is very well expressed in the land of Laconia, producing a more extroverted lemonade but also a mildly floral character, while at the same time combining the high acidity and the earthy notes of the variety. When the price of most Assyrtikas has 'escaped', here it seems to be forgotten at low, for variety, levels.

A well-crafted Nykteri from the Santo Wines coop that fans of this exuberant style of wine will appreciate. The quality as well as the varietal typicity of this wine did not go unnoticed by the team of experts of the top wine magazine Decanter who spoke about it with the most flattering words!

Gentle nose full of minerality and the characteristic, for Assyrtiko of Santorini, flint. Notes of ripe stone fruit and tart citrus. Mouth rich, exuberant with finesse and razor sharp acidity. Long aftertaste with saltiness and minerality. Decanting into a carafe is recommended to allow the wine to breathe and open up in order to bring out its complex character.
