Two of the most important varieties in the country, are combined and bring to our glasses a very enjoyable and special organic rosé wine of limited production. The white Assyrtiko and the red Xinomavro in a ratio of 60/40, ferment with the native yeasts and mature for a few months in oak barrels of 500 liters in the presence of the fine lees. Intense but at the same time elegant aroma that combines characteristics of both varieties.

Returning to their roots in Velvento, Kozani, in an area with a long winemaking tradition, Giannis and Nikos Vogiatzis create a small winery to produce very high quality wines. The rose fully reflects their philosophy by marrying Xinomavro with Moschomavro in a special proposal full of freshness, rose aromas and beautiful aftertaste.

At the Akratos winery in Halkidiki, they pay particular attention to the Greek varieties, so Xinomavro, the largest red variety of Northern Greece, could not be missing from their portfolio. Here we have a very affordable dimension of the variety that focuses on fruit and well-crafted tannins. A juicy Xinomavro that can be enjoyed fresh but also has the potential to get old for many years.

A full, rich wine with intense red color with slight brick hues. Tannic, aromatic with a long finish in the mouth. Which has an aroma dominated fruits like blackberry and cherry, complemented by aromas of spices, tomato, olive and vanilla.
