Producer's Description | Produced from the indigenous Greek varieties Limnio, Mavroudi and Mavrotragano. Limnio-referred to by Aristotle as "Lemnia Vine" - is the oldest Greek poikilia.
After extraction and complete alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in special wooden containers Burgundy, the wine is aged from about 12 to 18 months in new French oak barrels. It features a bright ruby color, complex "bouquet" spice with ripe black fruit (blackberry), raisins, coffee and kakao. In the mouth, gentle tannins supported by abundant fruit creating strength and balance. The aftertaste is standing by repetition of spices.
