After Epanomi, Kavala and Ilia, Vangelis Gerovasileiou and Vassilis Tsaktsarlis arrive in Santorini where they meet the oenologist Ioanna Vamvakouris and create the Mikra Thira winery, the first attempt made in Thirasia. This is a stunning wine made from 100% Assyrtiko grapes from Santorini that reflects all the characteristics of this unique terroir. Sharp acidity, structure, minerality, citrus and saltiness!

Details

Its color is lemon green with soft golden highlights. Its aromatic profile immediately betrays the wine's provenance, with citrus fruits such as lemon and bergamot, orange peel, chamomile, apricot and earthy notes reminiscent of wet stone. In the mouth it is rich with high acidity, intense lemony flavors and a salty aftertaste. It is definitely a wine that will evolve very nicely over time.
