Boutaris Winery celebrates its 140 years of operation with a wonderful Moschofilero from selected old vineyards on the plateau of Mantineia. Endowed with all the extroverted characteristics we have loved in this variety, it is worthy of the reputation and history of the winery in the area.

The continuous search for vineyards at high altitude, led to the "marriage" of three popular varieties from two particularly cold zones of the Peloponnese, Mantineia and Mountainous Aegialia. Moschofilero meets Assyrtiko and Syrah and with the signature of Leonidas Nasiakos they are transformed into an attractive and fruity food friendly rosé.

Leonidas Nasiakos, the creator who has identified his name with Moschofilero and has dedicated his winemaking career to creating excellent wines from the variety, creates the NOVUS winery and signs a charming, well-structured and charismatic PDO Mantineia.

On the one hand, it is the impressively rich aromatic profile of Moschofilero, on the other hand the very lusty acidity in the mouth that gives the Mantineia terroir combined with the variety. Unexpectedly fresh wine, with 'prudent' levels of alcohol, intense citrus aromas and white flowers, in a typical Mantineia from the rising Troupis winery.
