The connection of Apostolos Mountrichas with the anhydrous Santorini land and Assyrtiko is becoming stronger and stronger. The sun, the light, the air, the volcanic land, the sea and the water, the elements of nature that create the shocking terroir of Santorini, are beautifully expressed in this great wine. The complexity, the purity of the fruit, the sharp acidity and the mineral feeling put it in the pantheon of the top white wines of the world.

Two excellent Aegean red varieties, Mavrotragano and Mandilaria, combine very nicely in a rosé wine full of vitality and fruity aromas. The Santorinian terroir endows the wine with minerality, lively acidity and brings it next to many different dishes of the Mediterranean cuisine.

Terrasea is the first PDO Santorini wine produced exclusively from Assyrtiko planted in Thirasia island. Behind it are Vangelis Gerovasileiou and Vassilis Tsaktsarlis, who join forces with Ioanna Vamvakouris, having extensive experience in the vinification of Assyrtikos in Santorini. The vineyard, grown organically, is constantly expanding and we expect to see exciting wines as you will find out once you taste Terrasea.
