Apostolos Thymiopoulos is one of the most important Greek producers of the new generation! They are among those that have opened new horizons for Naoussa's Xinomavro. But it could not stay within the boundaries of a particular region. After his successful 'landing' in Santorini, he attempts to 'conquer' Rapsani. Tasting this complex and multi-faceted wine, one of the finer vineyards in the area, where Xinomavro occupies about 50%, we can already conclude!

The Grand Reserve is the leading expression of Rapsani, produced only for the very best vintages in limited quantities. Aged for 18 months in oak barrels and 18 months in the bottle, acquiring extremely rich character and robust structure and can comfortably be aged for at least a decade yet. It is no coincidence that it is amongst the 100 best wines of the world for 2015 by Wine & Spirits.
