The wine matures for several months in oak barrels and having acquired extra complexity comes to our table to take off any meat-eating meal. Amazing and original expression of Moschofileros by Aris Tselepos, the new generation of the Tselepos Estate, which for 30 years has been highlighting its variety and potential. Here we have a wine from a red grape whose juice remains for several days with the marcs (like the ‘orange’ wines) acquiring a soft red color and then leads to clay amphorae where it matures for about 6 months. The fermentation takes place spontaneously while no addition is made to the entire production process, so we are talking about a 'natural' wine. The intensity but also the quality of its fruit, the complexity, the quality of the tannins, its acidity but also the fact that it has developed beautifully in the bottle for two years, create a wonderful ensemble that will win even the most 'awkward' palate. .

  15. 2919M
    2919M 2020

Dry, Still, Red, Cabernet Sauvignon, Ages well
    €22.30
The color of the wine is bright ruby. The maturation of part of the wine in clay amphorae has highlighted very nicely the intensity of the fruit and the freshness of the wine that has been beautifully embraced by the very discreet elements of the oak from the part of the wine that matured for 12 months in French first use oak barrels. Its aroma betrays the variety, with the dense black fruit, the botany and the pepper, while the tannins, although still quite fresh, are silky. It is a wine that, although it supports the charm in the freshness and the liveliness, has the structure to evolve in the bottle for several years! 2919 meters is the altitude of Mytikas, the highest peak of Olympus.
