Dimitris Mansolas and Maria Tamiolaki, two excellent winemakers, created Hetero Wines in 2018 with the aim of producing ‘diverse’ wines from various regions of Greece. Here we have a rare combination of two great indigenous varieties, grown in the plain of Domokos and kneaded with native yeasts. The tannic character of Xinomavro is tamed with just 8% Assyrtiko, with the acidity of both varieties being at high levels, while at the same time the wine impresses with the intensity and freshness of the fruit.

So is the prayers that accompany the wine, which has gathered over it, all the good in the world. It comes from a fantastic terroir, the people who built their talent left over, the three varieties of tied together perfectly, while the price would make much more expensive competitors to 'blush'. From a particular vineyard an amazing expression of Xinomavro and Negoska by Christos Aidarini that manages and encapsulates the tradition of the region, giving a characteristic Goumenissa with aromas of ripe dried fruit and dried tomatoes, intense yet ripe tannins and if anything refreshing acidity .

A full, rich wine with intense red color with slight brick hues. Tannic, aromatic with a long finish in the mouth. Which has an aroma dominated fruits like blackberry and cherry, complemented by aromas of spices, tomato, olive and vanilla.

A very nice combination of Xinomavro with Grenache and Limnio, with fruit that comes from vineyards on Mount Athos. The wine matures for 10 months in oak French barrels 300lt acquiring beautiful oak elements, which in combination with the fruity profile lead to an enjoyable and easy-to-drink red wine.
