The Genilini winery renews the classic Rhombus by combining the potency of Robola with that of Assyrtikos. The result is a particularly explosive and versatile duo, ready to dominate any kind of seafood. Tasty and outgoing with mineral touches and a playful edge.

Hetero Wines, created by Maria Tamiolaki and Dimitris Mansolas, describes its effort as ‘Gypsy Winemaking’, ie it produces wines in different regions of Greece that have been selected for their uniqueness and wine value. Here we have an amazing Assyrtiko from vineyards that are organically grown in Domokos, which ferments with the native yeasts, remains for 5 months with its fine lees as 50% of the wine enters oak barrels of second use. It very nicely combines the austerity of the variety with its friendliest characteristics when grown outside Santorini.

Varelato classic white wine from Chardonnay. His stay in the barrel has given nicely spicy and aromatic notes has "melosei" significant primary aromas of fruit, acidity, however, remains alive and perfectly satisfactory life until the end.

There is no doubt that Savatiano is now among the most important native varieties. There is also no doubt that Vasilis Papayiannakos is the producer who contributed the most to its rebirth. This single vineyard (Vientzi) Savatiano from old vineyards and low yields, with its mineral elements, complexity, sharp acidity and aging is probably the top specimen of the variety.

Assyrtiko is very well expressed in the land of Laconia, producing a more extroverted lemonade but also a mildly floral character, while at the same time combining the high acidity and the earthy notes of the variety. When the price of most Assyrtikas has 'escaped', here it seems to be forgotten at low, for variety, levels.

The Manousaki winery brings to our glasses an unexpectedly delicious and fresh white organic wine, utilizing a red Cretan variety, Romeiko, and manages to draw our attention to a grape that until now was difficult to come to the fore.

The Agricultural Community of Paros makes wine with knowledge and a willingness to experiment with native varieties, redefining their true potential. In the case of Monemvasia, the bet of PDO Paros classification is won by a wine with an intensely fruity character and a balanced palette, which manages to artfully assimilate the mineral and brackish identity of the island.
