Producer's Description | Appellation: Protected Geographical Indication Lesvos Varietal Composition: 100% Chidiriotiko grapes Production Techniques: Fermentation at a temperature of 19° C , in order to enhance varietal aromas, instead of the 16° C applied to most white wines. Characteristics: Hay-colored. Bouquet combining muscat with tones of flowers and citrus fruit. Although dry, Methymnaeos white has a sherry-like sweetness to its taste. Minerality strongly evocative of sulfur, abundant in the volcanic soil of Lesvos. Serving Suggestions: Serve chilled with smoked goods, fish and seafood, as well as white confections. |
