Those who are not yet convinced that Xinomavro, apart from exceptional red wines, also gives us great rosé wines, should try the "Dianthos", bearing the signature of the Boutari winery, a company that has tied its name with Naoussa and the most important red variety of Northern Greece. The myth says that Dianthos is the flower created by Zeus because he envied the lily, the flower of Hera. Elegant, vivid but also modern, Boutari's flower gives us endless moments of enjoyment.

Saint Modesto is the newest creation of the Barafaka estate, whose wines are distinguished for their extroversion and expressive aromas. Its name is inspired by the church of Agios Modestos, located at the entrance of the winery. It is a very versatile wine, as it can be consumed as an aperitif but also to accompany delicious dishes of Mediterranean and Asian cuisine.

George Gavalas next to Assyrtiko devotes much of his effort to reviving forgotten varieties of the Thera vineyard that in the last century exceeded 100 on the island of Santorini. One of them, Voudomato offers a rare rosé wine with distinctive fruity characteristics, cool acidity and mineral elements in the nose and mouth.

Wonderful and incredibly elegant rosé wine from the great terroir of Santorini with the signature of Apostolos Mountricha who highlights the kind aspect of Malndilaria and marries it with the extroverted Aidani. This unique combination of grapes, which carries all the gifts of the arid Santorini land, bring to our glass an Aegean aura through a wine that remains unforgettable.

From those wines that justifiably do not produce a whole year due to demand, and is produced from a peculiar combination of varieties that give it aromas of red fruit in a ripe- "sweet" version. A suspicion of sweetness in the mouth combined with a refreshing acidity and a long fruity aftertaste make it irresistible on its own or in combination with a delicious pasta.

The continuous search for vineyards at high altitude, led to the "marriage" of three popular varieties from two particularly cold zones of the Peloponnese, Mantineia and Mountainous Aegialia. Moschofilero meets Assyrtiko and Syrah and with the signature of Leonidas Nasiakos they are transformed into an attractive and fruity food friendly rosé.

Three indigenous varieties, Agiorgitiko, Limniona and Mavroudi wear their extroverted costume and give us a luscious rosé wine with very nice aromas of fruits and flowers and a refreshing taste. A wine that can stand with equal ease on the everyday as well as on a festive table. It is also very pleasant as an aperitif.

We know that Xinomavro in Amyndeo can give refreshing and very pleasant rosé wines, let alone when it bears the signature of the Estate Kir-Yianni. Here we have the second tranquil and dry rosé wine from the Estate, where excellent grapes from old vineyards at an altitude of 600 meters are selected for its production.

With a light salmon color, fragrant elegant nose with aromas of pink rose, turmeric, sweet grape and citrus notes on its background, while the mouth is dry with a slight hint of sweetness and spicy character.

A beautiful and extremely popular rosé. It arises from the variety Syrah, so it is characterized by spicy aromas in the nose and mouth. This is a rosé with a great range of food flavor combinations.

The anticipation was worth it. The rose became Akakies 'sister' and even more playful, more lively and 'festive' mood. Another excellent 'interpretation' of the great Xinomavro winery Kir-Yianni that highlights all the different 'faces' of the vibrant variety. To undisputed "star" of the report "Froth and Bubbles 2011": A Blanc de Noir sparkling wine from the 'cold' Amyntaio and top Xinomavro that 'seals' in the bottle, the passion, the need for creativity, but also the fascination of discovery, which dominates the Dutch-with Greek roots-winemaker Laurens Hartman.

It has the name and it also has the grace to "bite" and excite in taste. AGATHOTO is an impressive 100% Xinomavro single vineyard rosé from young vines in Gastra Naoussa. Mediterranean, extroverted aromatically and able to combine a wide range of recipes due to the 12-month stay in 2-ton barrels.
