Two local winemakers, Manolis Vavoulas and Nikos Gryllis, put Lipsi on the wine map of Greece when in 2013 they joined forces and created the Lipsi winery with the aim of producing wines that match and highlight their place. Here we have a white wine from three predominantly Aegean varieties, the red Fokiano (followed by white vinification) and the white Assyrtiko and Athiri, which stands out both for its charming fruity profile and its cool and delicious taste.

After Epanomi, Kavala and Ilia, Vangelis Gerovasileiou and Vassilis Tsaktsarlis arrive in Santorini where they meet the oenologist Ioanna Vamvakouris and create the Mikra Thira winery, the first attempt made in Thirasia. This is a stunning wine made from 100% Assyrtiko grapes from Santorini that reflects all the characteristics of this unique terroir. Sharp acidity, structure, minerality, citrus and saltiness!

A favourite and special wine brand in Greece and abroad. Thalassitis is a wine with a long and steady course, which perfectly combines the formality and authenticity of Santorini's Assyrtikos with the modern character of a wine with an international profile. For this version, the head winemaker Yannis Paraskevopoulos decided to mature eache bottle under the depths of the santorinian sea. Only a few bottles survived from the deep sea submergion. The perfect ageing environment (steady and healthy temperature, humidity and absence of light) created a wine of iconic quality worthy of any wine collection. You may uncork it now and enjoy the gifts of the aegean sea in all their youth, or (if patient) after some years to unfurl the magic of Assyrtiko.

Biblia Chora Estate and its creators Vangelis Gerovassiliou and Vassilis Tsaktsarlis decided to 'spread' to southern Greece. Their new acquisition is Kokkalis Skafidia Estate of Ilia, which has produced so far two red wines. In their first white they invest in the most acclaimed white variety of the Greek vineyard, Assyrtiko and in one of the most emerging, Kydonitsa. The result is a very charming wine that deserves our attention!

Crete meets the north in a bottle of sparkling wine. Laurents Hartman, known for producing excellent sparkling wines, and Afshin Molavi from the Manousaki winery in Crete create an excellent sparkling wine, of limited production, made with the traditional Campaign method that takes the game to the next track. The Cretan Romeiko that comes from old vineyards at an altitude of 550-600 meters in Rethymno and the northern Helladic Xinomavro from self-cultivated vines at Amyntaio at an altitude of 700 meters, combined with the maturation for 4 years in the bottle with the wine lees lead to a very sparkling with unexpected lemony character.

The terroir of Santorini is present in all the varieties of the island! The wonderful Katsano of Giorgos Gavalas, a multi-year and persistent effort of the winemaker has given the wine of the same name a wonderful yellow color, aromas of honey and lemon but also of apricot, matching acidity and a long, very pleasant aftertaste.

The Kir Yianni estate keeps experimenting and surprising us! An elegant and stylish premium limited production Chardonnay, part of the new series of single vineyard wines of the estate. Ripe stone fruit in perfect harmony with the elements of oak, creating a complex set very close to the style of the great Burgundy Chardonnay.

The Lexis line of Zacharia winery is enriched with a single vineyard wine from a great variety of the Peloponnese, Kidonitsa. A very nice barrel expression of this grape that proves that the oak goes very well. The exemplary use of the barrel has highlighted the fruit, with the distinctive elements of vanilla and butter giving it complexity and oiliness.

The Anhydrous by Apostolos Mountrichas brings a new look to the performance of the majestic terroir of Santorini. Its unique talents, created by the earth, the volcano and the sea breeze are exceptionally reflected, with the fruit meeting the smoky minerality and the incredible levels of acidity under a solid structure.

Sauvignon Blanc, a favorite white variety around the world, in a very nice expression from Northern Greece that will be loved by all wine lovers. A juicy white wine with a very nice fruity and vegetable profile that goes well with all Mediterranean dishes. Beware, only 3000 bottles are in circulation, so we are talking about a rare wine.

Pithari 6 is one of the amphorae used for the 'Tria Ampelia 2021' wine which comes from a single vineyard over 60 years old. Fermented with indigenous yeasts, leaving some residual sugars and matured for 16 months.

A unique, extreme expression of Assyrtiko, bottled unfiltered and characterized by an extremely rich body and high alcohol content. Really ripe fruit made by a late harvest, well-integrated minerality and an impressively long aftertaste.
