Manos Markovitis who holds the reins of the eponymous winery carries heavy history on his shoulders, that of Chateau Pegasus one of the first wineries in Naoussa. Mark focuses on Xinomavro and the emergence of having solid foundations but putting his own stamp producing only this label style that oscillates between traditional and modern Naoussa. Katogi Averoff, although located quite far from Naoussa, manages to bring to our glasses an exceptional expression of the variety with bright fruit and botanical elements, lively acidity and noticeable tannins.
