    At winery Vourvoukeli they invest in the indigenous varieties, trying to revive the historical vineyard of the area and to put the area back on the wine map of Greece. Pamidi is one of the red varieties of Thrace that is used especially in recent years, giving very interesting wines such as this rosé version from Abdera with its bright fruit and charming character. It is a wine that suits all hours of the day and all seasons.

    Two local winemakers, Manolis Vavoulas and Nikos Gryllis, put Lipsi on the wine map of Greece when in 2013 they joined forces and created the Lipsi winery with the aim of producing wines that match and highlight their place. Here we have a white wine from three predominantly Aegean varieties, the red Fokiano (followed by white vinification) and the white Assyrtiko and Athiri, which stands out both for its charming fruity profile and its cool and delicious taste.

    According to Greek mythology, Hercules built the city of Abdera in Thrace in memory of his friend, Abdera, when he was killed in battle with the wild horses of the king of Thrace, Diomedes. This delicious red wine that pulsates with liveliness, fruit and spicy elements is named after this legend. The oldest Greek variety, Limnio, puts its fruity characteristics and kindness, the Thracian grape Pamidi the extroverted character and the international Syrah the structure and the spice profile in a wine that is pleasantly enjoyed in winter and summer.

    Two friends, Manolis Vavoulas and Nikos Gryllis, create the Lipson winery in order to revive the local red variety Fokiano, which is famous for its ability to produce extremely sweet wines. This sweet wine is produced ‘as before’ by sun-drying the overripe grapes with the wine then maturing in oak barrels for at least two years acquiring a complex character. Great dessert wine with very good value for money.

    Vradiano is a rare red variety of Northern Evia, the revival of which belongs rightly to Konstantinos Vriniotis and oenologist Grigoris Skopelitis. The unique unicoloured red wine leaves no doubt that the variety has great potential. It is a wine of limited production, fermented with indigenous yeasts, matured in oak barrels for about a year and a year in the bottle before it reaches our shelves.

    Apostolos Thymiopoulos is one of the most important Greek producers of the new generation! They are among those that have opened new horizons for Naoussa's Xinomavro. But it could not stay within the boundaries of a particular region. After his successful 'landing' in Santorini, he attempts to 'conquer' Rapsani. Tasting this complex and multi-faceted wine, one of the finer vineyards in the area, where Xinomavro occupies about 50%, we can already conclude!
