Palyvos Estate tackles Kydonitsa giving a new dynamic and predictably enjoyable dimension to the variety. The use of native yeasts, the excellent fruit of selected vineyards and the soft touch of oak from the 4-month stay of the wine in french and american barrels gives a wine ready for all taste matchings.

The Troupi winery goes even further than Moschofilero! It takes fruit from the Katarachi area at an altitude of 640 meters, ferments part of the wine in stainless steel tanks and the rest in old barrels of acacia and oak and then all the wine matures for a few months in concrete tanks, while bottled without bottles. The excellent raw material, the complex way of vinification but also the combination of four different fermentation and maturation vessels lead to an extremely complex and enjoyable Moschofilero that can be developed for a few years in the bottle.

The varelato Thrapsathiri the varietal of wine is yellow pear aromas of green apple, orange, with hints of vanilla and distinct aromas of barrel. Cool and crisp flavor, excellent acidity and a spicy and fruity aftertaste, is wine that can accompany a wide range of dishes.

Vidiano is considered to be the next big thing in the Greek market. This indigenous Cretan variety bears a Marsanne/Roussanne-like character, reminiscent of apricots, pears, vanilla notes with an oily-soft texture.

A promising Assyrtiko from Pieria that highlights the ‘friendly’ side of the variety, from a brand new winery that is expected to occupy us a lot in the future.
