Its color is light gold with several green highlights. Its aroma is complex, with citrus like lemon and grapefruit and mineral elements dominating followed by peach and almond notes. Rare wine from the Argyrou Estate produced from strictly selected Assyrtiko vineyards over 150 years old that are cultivated in the area of ​​Pyrgos according to the principles of biodynamic cultivation. The few bottles are released to the market after having matured for a few years in the winery. 25% of wine matures for 12 months in French oak barrels and the remaining percentage for at least 30 months on its fine lees. The Papas vineyard in Megalochori with vines aged 150+ years, gives a rare and majestic wine from Assyrtiko that raises the status of Santorini wines even higher.
